Mueller Excavating has been in business for over 60 years. We have grown into a company that is versatile enough to handle the biggest of developments or the smaller projects that need a delicate touch. Since we have a very knowledgeable and talented staff, state of the art equipment, and a commitment to our clients, we believe we can provide the best service possible to meet all of your construction needs.

Mueller Excavating was founded by Harold Mueller in 1953, a highly respected and well known man in his community. From his work ethic to his overall general knowledge, Harold Mueller was destined to become successful in many aspects of his life. He is a caring father, grandfather and great grandfather; Harold's dedication and hard work goes far beyond Mueller Excavating.

Shaping the World Since 1953

Mueller Excavating grew over the years and became a family business, with the emergence of Harold's son, Nick, coming aboard! In 1975, Nick took the reigns of the company. Harold stayed involved in the business and is still involved today, operating a dozer at 85 years young!

Mueller Excavating began with most of it's projects being in agriculture. Improving fields, disposing of line fence, and digging ponds were many of the tasks Harold completed on a daily basis.​

Currently, Mueller Excavating is stronger than ever and is looking forward to continuing this pattern into the future. Dusty Mueller is the third generation to come up through Mueller Excavating and he now works closely at Nick's side in the day to day operations.
